The slope is #-2#

Explanation:

The slope is the change in value of the y co-ordinates divided by the change in value of the x co-ordinates.
So for your points;
let (3, -1) be the first point and (2, 1) be the second point.
This makes the change in value of the y co-ordinates 1 - (-1) = 2
and the change in value of the x co-ordinates 2 - 3 = (-1)
So the slope is #2/-1 = -2#
