If you ever heard the term "Mental Block", this is one common effect of stressors to one's memories.
Explanation:
Stressors can either be innate or external.
Noise Pollution is a good example for external source, it can restrict concentration, disabling you from remembering quickly.
Lack of Sleep is a good innate stress, A tired body can cause a tired brain, restricting your concentration, disabling you to perform mentally efficiently.
