Green plants provide oxygen gas and animals provide carbon dioxide gas
Explanation:
Energy is provided by sun. Solar energy is unlimited. Green plants and other producers consume carbon dioxide and water. In return they produce oxygen gas (when solar energy and others (water and some elements for example) are there for them) and glucose. Consumers, on the other hand, consume these plants and others to survive.
Sooner or later both green plants and consumers return to soil or water to be elements (this is done by decomposers). Since carbon dioxide has been increasing in the atmosphere, mostly due to human activities, some might be expecting that plants will be happy. However, this is not correct.
