How do you graph #y=6x-1#?

Simple & Easy!
You first need to know what the equations mean! The name kinda spoils it for you :)
Slope intercept form.

Explanation:

m= slope and in the equation 6 is the slope
b ( which really just is the y intercept) = -1

So the info you have now is:
m = 6 <--- since it is a slope, you gotta make it #6/1#
b = -1

All you gotta do now is graph it
First plot -1 on the graph and use the slope to get the second point.
