you can use 'point slope form' of equation.

Given:
Slope=m= 3
point (8,0)

using point slope form, that is , #(y-y_1)/(x-x_1)=m# (here 1 is only the footer).

#(y-0)/(x-8)=3#
simplifying it ,

#y=3x-24#
