In uniform linear motion (going in a straight line), velocity is constant or changing (accelerating). Circular motion (going in a circle) has a constant acceleration. (but can have constant speed)

Explanation:

Velocity = #(Deltad)/(Deltat)#
So since an object going in a circle is constantly changing its direction, it's changing d #:.# changing velocity.

And acceleration = #(Deltav)/(Deltat)# so if velocity is constantly changing, then the object is accelerating.
