Is Fritz Haber consider as a criminal against humanity?
Fritz Haber is definitely considered as a war criminal for the weapon he created and used he made of them in battlefields. However, I was wondering if his actions were also making him a criminal against humanity?
I read somewhere that a crime against humanity meant to actually harm or kill civilians under certain circumstances. Sadly I do not know enough to confirm this statement and I was wondering if one of you could define this term for me, or tell me if Haber actions are enough to give him this title.

It all depends on your personal opinion. He knew his inventions could be used for bad and evil. But it really wasn't its intended purpose. He mainly did it for large-scale fertilizers. But he also weaponized chlorine. His actions were seen in the Second Battle of Ypres. So it all comes down to personal opinion, do you think he should have been tried and convicted of this? He never stood trial but a lot of people say he should have.
