Dense and loose connective tissues
Explanation:
In dense connective tissue, nearly all of the space between the cells is filled by protein and collagen fibers, forming a tightly packed structure (Ligaments are often dense connective tissue). However, in loose connective tissue, there are few fibers between the cells, which makes it as the name states, more open and "loose."
Dense connective tissue is stronger than loose connective tissue and can be further divided into two subcategories: dense regular connective tissue, which has parallel bundles of proteins, and dense irregular connective tissue, with less orderly collagen fibers.
