SOLID:
i. Solids have definite shape and distinct boundaries.
ii. They have fixed volume.
iii. They have negligible compressibility.
iv. They are rigid and maintain the shape when subjected of outside force.

LIQUID:
i. They have no definite shape and take the shape of the container.
ii. They have fixed volume.
iii. Liquids have negligible compressibility.
iv. They are fluids which can flow and change their shape .

GAS or AIR :
i. They've no definite shape or volume.
ii. Gases are highly compressable .
iii. They can flow and fill the spaces available.
iv. The rate of diffusion is very high.
v. They exert pressure on the walls of the container.
