Slope #=-1#

Well, we want the equation in terms of #y# first so we can do that by subtracting both sides by #x#

#y+xcolor(red)(-x)=0color(red)(-x)#

#y=-x#

This is simply a line that crosses the origin and is decreasing.

If we recall, #y=mx+b#, #m# is the slope of the line which is the coefficient (or number) in front of the variable.

From our equation, the slope, #m# is #-1#
