Chemistry can help the environment in many ways as follows:
Explanation:
We have branches like:
- Environmental chemistry
- Biochemistry
- Nuclear chemistry etc
and these branches are, in themselves, study of the environment and biosphere.
EXAMPLE
The layers of the atmosphere are studied in Environmental chemistry. We study about the troposphere, stratosphere etc. where ozone is studied. From there, the concept of global warming and greenhouse effect originate.
So, if chemistry has explained the cause of a problem, it will also state the prevention/ solution of it. As for global warming, safety and prevention measures are taken by keeping the chemistry in consent.
