You may use the conversions factors to process from feet to inches to centimeters to meters.

1 ft = 12 in
1 in = 2.54 cm
100 cm = 1 m

An example
How many meters are in 10 ft.

$10 ft$ x $(12in)/(1ft )$ x $(2.54 cm)/(1 in)$ = $304.8cm$

then

$304.8 cm$ x $(1 m)/(100 cm)$ = $3.048 m$
