Cellular repiration occurs by oxidation of glucose and release of energy.
Explanation:
Cellular repiration occurs by oxidation of glucose and energy is released. The whole cellular respiration is completed in three phases.
1. Glycolysis-The glycolysis is completed in the cytoplasm and two molecules of pyruvic acids are formed in this phase.
2. The Krebs Cycle or Citric Caid Cycle-It is completed in the matrix of the mitochodria and pyruvic acid is completely oxidised by the use of oxygen.
3. The electron transport system is completed in the inner mitrochondrial membrane. The energy rich molecules are formed in this process. Thank you
