I would argue that Peer Pressure itself isn't a bad thing.
Explanation:
Peer pressure is another label that describes our desire to conform and be like our peers. Peer pressure is slightly different to just our need to conform as it is when our peers actively push you into an activity. It is often portrayed as negative, however is just a strong force for making someone do something. Therefore it is not inherently a "bad" thing, more like a tool which could be used for good.
For example, a sociopath or psychopath to whom social niceties don't come naturally could be a kinder person due to his peers displaying those traits around him, which "pressures" him into following suit.
