What if I am not given the initial or final temperature, only the change in temperature? Can I still calculate for the heat flow?

No, it doesn't matter, as long as you know what the final temperature is. Remember, it's the change in temperature that correlates with the heat required to flow through the system. As long as you know T_f and T_i, you'll know what q is.

Not even your average DeltaT or standard deviation of DeltaT should change.
