As explained in above figure that in the resonance air column experiment with one end closed tube we get first resonance air column at the length $\frac{λ}{4}$ $lambda/4$ , where $λ$ $lambda$ is the wave length of sound wave produced by the tuning fork in use. Here the length of 1st resonant air column is $l_{1} = 15 c m$ $l_1=15cm$ .

Hence $\frac{λ}{4} = 15 c m$ $lamda/4=15cm$

The second resonant air column will be obtained at the length
$l_{2} = \frac{3 λ}{4} = 3 \times 15 = 45 c m \to option(c)$ $l_2=(3lambda)/4=3xx15=45cm->"option(c)"$
