Bashai is left with $23$ cakes

Let us assume Firawari baked $x$ cakes, then Bashai baked thrice i.e. $3x$ cakes.

As Bashai gave away $115$ cakes, now he has $3x-115$ and Firawari's $x$ cakes are twice as many.

Hence, $x=2xx(3x-115)$ or

$x=6x-230$ or

$6x-x=230$ or

$5x=230$ and $x=230/5=46$

Hence, Bashai had baked $3xx46=138$ cakes and as he had given away $115$ cakes, he is left with $138-115=23$ cakes.
