Can you write a book in first person and third? Can you switch them?
I mean can the first chapter be narrated in first person as in, "I was so scared she would see." And then the next one in third person as in, "Carrie was so scared Maybelle would see." Is that possible?

I mean. You can do it, you can do whatever you want kinda because it's your book, but I wouldn't recommend it especially if you're talking about the same character.
Explanation:
It would make sense if you made one chapter in first person and then in the next chapter make it in third person but make it about a different character. To suddenly start telling thing from outside Carrie's point of view is an odd thing.
