The Big Bang theory postulates that an explosive expansion of a super dense mass of matter resulted in the presently observed outward expansion of the observable universe.

Explanation:

The Big Bang Theory implies that our present universe had a beginning. Oddly there was a time when there was no time. The outward expansion matter created both time and space. Matter was turned into energy both light and kinetic energy.

The kinetic energy caused the outward expansion of the universe. Hubble first observed that through the red shift of stars that the universe was expanding. Recent observations of the expansion of the universe indicate that the rate of the expansion of the universe is increasing.

The Observations of an increasing rate of expansion indicate that the Big Bang not only resulted in the beginning of the observable universe it will also be the cause of the end of the observable universe.

The Big Bang resulted in the creation of the present universe and the present increasing rate of expansion of the universe. The Big Bang caused the creation of time and space, the stars, and motion of the universe.
