Hence $A B = B C$ $AB=BC$ we have that

$A C = A B + B C = B C + B C \Rightarrow A C = 2 \cdot B C \Rightarrow B C = \frac{1}{2} \cdot A C$ $AC=AB+BC=BC+BC=>AC=2*BC=>BC=1/2*AC$
