Resistors are like in a "sequence".
Explanation:
A series circuit in which the resistance is combined through the equation,
#R_1,R_2,R_3,...,R_n# is the resistance of resistors#1,2,3,...,n# .
The resistors in this circuit are arranged through straight lines, and are not cut off from each other. They are placed like dominoes.
