The factorial of a number n is denoted as $n!$ $n!$

This is the product of all numbers from 1 to n.

So we have $n! = n \cdot (n - 1) \cdot (n - 2) \cdot \dots \cdot 2 \cdot 1$ $n! = n * (n - 1) * (n -2) * … * 2 * 1$

So let us take $6!$ $6!$

$6! = 6 \cdot 5 \cdot 4 \cdot 3 \cdot 2 \cdot 1$ $6! = 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1$
