salts accumulate when water is distilled by Sun and forms cloud.
salt does not evaporate.
Explanation:
When it rains the water falls on land and it goes though the layers of sand or clay and absorbs salt from it..It gets into sea through rivers and as this process is repeated for millions of years salt accumulates in sea. water gets evaporated but salt remains
there.
