Planets appear larger and brighter .Stars do not appear larger but only brighter.
Explanation:
Telescopes collect more light than our eye.
They resolve close objects so more details can be seen.
They magnify. depend upon the eye piece and Focal length.
Planets we can see disk.In case of Jupiter 4 moons are also visible.
