So $(-6,?)->(-6,+5)$

Given: $" "(x,y)->(-6,?)$
$2/3 x+y-1=0$

Thus the unknown value is that of $y$ and the known value is that of $x$ .

By substitution for $x=-6$

$2/3 x+y-1=0" "->" "2/3(-6)+y-1=0$

$-4+y-1=0$

$-5+y=0$

Add 5 to both sides

$+5-5+y=0+5$

But $5-5=0$

$y=+5$

So $(-6,?)->(-6,+5)$
