How do you convert 45°C to Fahrenheit?

Recall the formula to convert this.

\mathbf(T_C = 5/9(T_F - 32))

Of course, T_C is the temperature in ""^@ "C", and T_F is the temperature in ""^@ "F".

Let's test this to make sure. I know that 100^@ "C" = 212^@ "F" is the boiling point of water, so let's see if that works.

color(green)(T_C) = 5/9(212 - 32)

= 5/9(180)

= 5*20 = color(green)(100^@ "C")

Yep. Now use it on 45^@ "C".

45 = 5/9(T_F - 32)

405/5 = T_F - 32

81 + 32 = color(blue)(113^@ "F" = T_F)
