I tried factoring the numerator and denominator toget:
2x^2+5x-12=(x+4)(2x-3)
2x^2-7x+6=(2x-3)(x-2)
So you get:
(2x^2+5x-12)/(2x^2-7x+6)=[(x+4)(2x-3)]/[(2x-3)(x-2)]=
Simplifying:
=(x+4)/(x-2)
