Separate and do the division of the coefficients and the exponents individually before re-combining

$(3.5xx10^2)/(2.5xx10^(-3)) = (3.5)/(2.5) xx 10^2/10^(-3)$

$(3.5)/(2.5) = 1.4$

$10^2/10^(-3) = 10^2xx10^3 = 10^5$

So
$(3.5xx10^2)/(2.5xx10^(-3)) = 1.4 xx 10^5$
