Therefore,

$sin A = (BC)/(AB)$

substituting the values

$A = 35°$ $AB = 15$

$sin 35° = (BC)/(15)$

multiply both sides of the equation by 15
and using reflexive property of equality

$BC = 15*sin 35°$

$BC = 8.6$
