A= 12.57 cm^2 rounded off to two decimal places.

Or A=12.56 cm^2 Not rounded off.

Explanation:

Using formula:

Area of a circle = pi x r^2

Given that r^2= (2 cm)^2

So we have= pi x 2^2

Which is pi x 4

You will need a calculator to solve it to the exact value, but you can also just use 3.14 as pi, it works too, only problem is that using a calculator will give you a more precise value than using just 3.14, so there will be two answers.

Using non calculator equation 3.14 x 4

That equals to 12.56 cm^2 exact using.

Using calculator equation pi x 4

That equals to 12.56637061

Rounding off to two decimal places which is 12.57
