$y=e^x+2$

To invert a function, we want to flip it across the line y = x.

$y=ln(x-2)$

Swap x and y:

$x = ln(y-2)$

Take exponential of both sides:

$y-2 = e^x$

$y=e^x+2$

Plotting in Mathematica to check gives:
