#y=e^x+2#

To invert a function, we want to flip it across the line y = x.

#y=ln(x-2)#

Swap x and y:

#x = ln(y-2)#

Take exponential of both sides:

#y-2 = e^x#

#y=e^x+2#

Plotting in Mathematica to check gives:
