You can easily find the slope of any line by rewriting its equation in sloper-intercept form, which for a general line looks line this

$m$ - the slope of the line;
$b$ - the $y$ -intercept.

Your line equation looks like this

$x + y = 7$

To get it to general slope-intercept form, move $x$ to the right-hand side of the equation

$y = -x + 7$

Now simply compare the two equations. In your case, you have $b = 7$ and

$m = color(green)(-1)$
