Subtract 3x from both sides.

3x-3x-y< 0-3x =

-y< -3x

Multiply times -1.

y>3x

Determine two points on the line, temporarily changing the > symbol to an = symbol.

If x=0; y=3(0)=0
Point = (0,0)

If x=2; y=3*2=6
Point = (2,6)

Plot the points on a graph and draw a dashed line (-----) through the points to indicate that the points on that line are not part of the inequality. Shade in the area above the line.
