then
d<-3

You could plot this on a number line by indicating all points to the left of (-3) are in the solution set (be careful to indicate (-3) is not part of the solution.

If (for some reason) you wanted to "plot" this on the Cartesian plane, you could set your possible d values along the vertical axis (normally the y-axis); draw a horizontal line at y=-3 and shade everything below that line as the solution set.
