To find the 5 main points of the linear function, use x=-2, -1, -0, 1,2 to find your y-coordinates.

Mapping rule:
(x, y)=(x, 1/2x)

1. (-2, 1/2(-2))=(-2,-1)
2. (-1, 1/2(-1))=(-1,-1/2)
3. (0, 1/2(0))=(0,0)
4. (1, 1/2(1))=(1,1/2)
5. (2, 1/2(2))=(2,1)

Plot the points and you will get a graph that looks like this:

graph{1/2x [-7.9, 7.9, -3.946, 3.95]}
