Because this is a linear function we need to plot just two points.

For $x = 0$ $x = 0$ : $f (0) = (3 \cdot 0) - 2 = 0 - 2 = - 2$ $f(0) = (3 * 0) - 2 = 0 - 2 = -2$ or $(0, - 2)$ $(0, -2)$

For $x = 2$ $x = 2$ : $f (2) = (3 \cdot 2) - 2 = 6 - 2 = 4$ $f(2) = (3 * 2) - 2 = 6 - 2 = 4$ or $(2, 4)$ $(2, 4)$

Next, we can plot these two points:
