The region of inequality would be the region shared by both the inequalities.
First graph the lines x+y= -2 and x-y=4
The region of inequality x+y< -2 would lie to the left of the graph of x+y= -2. Shade this region.
The region of inequality of x-y< 4, would also lie to the left of the graph of x-y=4. Shade this region too.
The region common to both the shaded regions is the graph of the given system of inequalities.
