To plot the graph of $y = 3^{x}$ $y=3^x$ , there is a need to determine some important (x, y) coordinates and asymptotes.

from the equation $y = 3^{x}$ $y=3^x$ , set $x = 0$ $x=0$ , then solve for $y$ $y$ to determine the y-intercept.

Set x now to the very large value $+ \infty$ $+oo$ , then solve for y.
