Changing mixed fraction to a simple fraction;

2 ( 1/3) can be written as 2 + (1/3)

and similarly 5 (2/4) can be rotten as 5 + (2/4)

multiplying these two

{2 + (1/3) } { 5 + (2/4)}

2 x 5 + 2 x (2/4) +( 1/3 ) x 5 +( 1/3 ) x (2/4)

10 + (4/4)+ (5/3) + (2/12)

10 + 1 + (5/3 + 2/12)

11 + ( 5/3 + 2/12)

solving parentheses using LCM

11 + ( 5.4 + 2) / 12

11 + (22/12)

(12.11 + 22)/ 12

(132 + 22 )/12

154 /12 = 12 +( 10/12) = 12 5/6
