You can first multiply 4.7xx7.6=35.724.7×7.6=35.72 and then deal with the powers of ten remembering that a^m*a^m=a^(m+n)amam=am+n;
10^(-8)*10^3=10^(-8+3)=10^(-5)108103=108+3=105
So you get:
35.72xx10^(-5)35.72×105 rearranged to have:
3.572xx10^(-4)3.572×104 by moving the decimal point to the left and changing, as a consequence, the exponent of 1010 of 1 unit.
