How do you simplify 2-3[x-2-5(x-1)]?

2-3[x-2-5(x-1)]

We use the PEMDAS rule to simplify the above expression
(Parentheses>Exponents>Multiply and Divide>Add or Subtract)

We solve the parentheses first, inwards to outwards

= 2-3[x-2-{5x-5}]

= 2-3[x-2-5x+5]

= 2-3[(x-5x)+(5-2)]

= 2-3[-4x+3]

= 2-{(3*-4x)+(3*3)}

= 2-{-12x+9}

= 2+12x-9
