As #pi# is a positive transcendental (never-ending) string of digits = 3.14159265... it is tautological to say #|pi|#.

Already #pi# is a positive constant. So, saying #|pi|# is tautology.

The absolute value functuon #|•|# gives the distance of a real number from #0# on the number line. That is,

#|x|= x# if #x>=0#
#|x|=-x# if #x <0#

As #pi>0#, then, #|pi|=pi#
