As $pi$ is a positive transcendental (never-ending) string of digits = 3.14159265... it is tautological to say $|pi|$ .

Already $pi$ is a positive constant. So, saying $|pi|$ is tautology.

$|pi|=pi$

The absolute value functuon $|•|$ gives the distance of a real number from $0$ on the number line. That is,

$|x|= x$ if $x>=0$
$|x|=-x$ if $x <0$

As $pi>0$ , then, $|pi|=pi$
