You can see that from the definition of logarithm you have:
${log}_{a} b = x \to a^{x} = b$ $log_ab=x -> a^x=b$

and also ${log}_{e} = ln$ $log_e =ln$

So you get:

$ln e = 1$ $lne=1$

$ln 1 = 0$ $ln1=0$

${log}_{2} (8) = 3$ $log_2(8)=3$

finally:

$ln (ln e) + {log}_{2} (8) = 3$ $ln(lne)+log_2(8)=3$
