The solutions for the equation are
x=32,x=12

Explanation:

4x2+4x3

We can Split the Middle Term of this expression to factorise it and thereby find the solutions.

In this technique, if we have to factorise an expression like ax2+bx+c, we need to think of 2 numbers such that:

N1N2=ac=4(3)=12
and
N1+N2=b=4

After trying out a few numbers we get N1=6 and N2=2
6(2)=12, and 6+(2)=4

4x2+4x3=4x22x+6x3

=2x(2x1)+3(2x1)

(2x+3)(2x1) is the factorised form of the expression.

Now we can equate each of the two factors to zero and find the solutions.

2x+3=0,x=32
2x1=0,x=12
