6x-2y=0 .......equation (1)

x-y=12
x = 12+y ..........equation (2)

substituting equation (2) in equation (1)
6(12+y)-2y=0
72+6y-2y=0
72= -4y
y = -18

substituting the value of y in equation (2) to find x:

x = 12+y = 12 -18 = -6

the solution for the system of equations are
color(blue)(x = -6 and y = -18
