The decimal place stays where it is and the numbers moves to the left 5 times. You have to use zeros as place holders. When people say "put zeros on the end" they are very wrong!!!!!!

Consider 0.25 xx 10.

If you put a zero on the end you get: 0.250 which is no different in value.

Move the number 1 place to the left however and you get 2.5 which is correct.
