Another familiar form of the linear equation is

y=m*x+b

In which m is the slope or gradient, and b is the y-intercept, that is the place where the graph will intersect the y-axis, which happens when x=0

The point (0,4) ís on the y-axis (since x=0), so b=4

The general form in this notation would then be:
y=m*x+4
With m any number (even 0)
