The shorter/ smaller the wavelength and greater frequency, the more energy.

E=h*fE=hf
So as frequency increases so does energy.

Explanation:

The above formula describes the energy per photon of a specific light wave. h refers to Planck's Constant (6.626*10^-34 J*s)(6.6261034Js)

Frequency and Wavelength are indirectly related to one another, meaning that as one increases the other will decrease and vise versa. Their relationship follows the formula c=f*lambdac=fλ where:

  • c = Light's Speed (300,000,000 m/s300,000,000ms)
  • f = Frequency in Hertz(1/s)(1s)
  • lambdaλ = Wavelength in meters
