The number of stamens in a flower varies in different plants, being always same for a specific plant.
Explanation:
The number of stamens per flower is not same in all plants. It varies from one to numerous per flower. The number is mostly fixed for all plants in a particular family in Angiosperms.
The number is 6 in family Cruciferae and Liliaceae , 5 in Solanaceae, 10 in Caesalpiniodeae and Papilionaceae , numerous in Mimosoideae, etc.
The stamens are mostly multiple of 3 in monocot families and multiple of 5 in dicot families, with exceptions.
