Use any two points.

The reason why you can use any 2 points of your choice is that, a line has only one slope , and so all points are increasing or decreasing in the same regular manner.

Slope = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)=y2y1x2x1

where (x_1,y_1)(x1,y1) is one point that is found on the line, and (x_2,y_2)(x2,y2) is any other point lying on that same line.h
